The two-stage trigger of the GX-40 is light and responsive, making the rifle ideal for hunting or target shooting. The cold-hammer-forged barrel is fitted with a muzzle brake that can be replaced with any ½ inch UNF silencer. The rifle has a 10-shot magazine and an on-board pressure gauge for real time pressure readings.
